In celebration of National Agriculture Day on March 18, 2026, Tri-County EMC invites our members to submit their best agriculture photos that capture the heart of farming and rural life. Whether it’s a stunning farm landscape, the hard work of a farmer, livestock in action, or crops growing strong—this is your chance to showcase what agriculture means to you and our community.
The prizes will be $200 for first place, $150 for second place, $100 for third place, and $50 for fourth place.
The top ten photos will be shared on our Facebook page on Monday, March 9, and open for public voting until Friday, March 13, at 4 p.m. Votes can be cast by "liking" or "loving" your favorite photos. The winner will be announced on March 24 during the National Agriculture Day celebrations. The winning photo will also be featured in the May issue of Carolina Country Magazine. Voting is easy! Simply “like” or “love” your favorite photos on Facebook.
RULES
- One entry per household.
- Must be a member of Tri-County EMC.
- Include your name, mailing address, and phone number.
- Emailed photos are accepted only.
CONTEST TIMELINE
- February 9: Contest opens for submissions.
- March 6: Submission deadline. Ten (10) finalists will be selected for the contest after the closing date for submissions, which is March 6 at 5 p.m.
- March 9-13: If your photo is selected as a finalist, it will be posted on Tri-County EMC's Facebook page members/community will vote for the winning designs.
- March 13: The deadline for voting on Facebook is 4:00 p.m.
- March 24: Winners published on National Agriculture Day
