Tri-County EMC is making an important update to the way we send text message alerts to our members. Beginning Friday, October 9, text notifications that previously came from our short code 352667 will begin coming from our new 10-digit number 919-587-9625.
If you are currently enrolled to receive text alerts from Tri-County EMC, no action is required. You will continue receiving text notifications as usual—just from a new number.
Members are encouraged to save 919-587-9625 in their phone as “Tri-County EMC” so messages from the cooperative are easy to recognize.
This change only affects the number from which Tri-County EMC text notifications are sent. It will not change your enrollment or notification preferences.
